The Rose Scott Women Writers’ Festival Committee warmly invites Members and Guests to a special event to celebrate the 2019 Festival on Friday 25 October from 5.00-7.00 pm.
Please join us for an intimate evening with writer Virginia Duigan in conversation with inaugural Writer in Residence Drusilla Modjeska about Virginia’s latest book The Age of Discretion which tackles one of the last taboos, the sexuality of older women, both seriously and wittily. The conversation will start at 5.30pm.
The Age of Discretion has been described as ‘a witty, evocative and poignant tale and a reminder in this youth-obsessed era that living is not just for the young.
Members and Guests are welcome.
