Our Submissions Process

At Ventura Press, we are committed to keeping our submissions process open to all writers.

As we receive a high volume of submissions, please know that our team is dedicated to giving each manuscript the careful consideration it deserves. While we will acknowledge receipt of your submission, it can take months to evaluate it properly.

How & Where to Submit

We kindly ask all authors to submit their work as below. To complete your submission, please have the following information prepared:

  • Author Biography: A brief overview of your writing background and credentials.

    Word limit: 250 words max.

  • Synopsis: A brief summary of your plot, including the ending, your target audience, and 2–3 comparable titles.

    Word limit: 500 words max.

  • Manuscript Sample: A sample chapter of your manuscript, double-spaced.

    (Please name your file: Full Name_Submission Title.)

  • Submissions are to be made via email to: submissions@venturapress.com.au
